Max was born 1863 in Soroka, Bessarabia. He married Dora Sandler. Moved his family to Tiraspol and then between 1906 to 1908 moved his family to New York in the U.S.
Max’s father’s name was Moshe; however, his mother’s name is unknown to me. He supposedly had 5 other brothers and 2 or 3 sisters.
I have not been able to ascertain geneology on his brothers and sisters that I can verify with time periods. The closest named Magidman or Maghidman who were from Soroka were born after 1890. Their geneology shows Pinchas, Israel, Samuel, Lazar; names of brothers of Max but they do not appear time appropriate.
